One year our team went undefeated and won the championship. I didn't start but I got plenty of plays in. I was defensive lineman.

Yeah well soccer is the game with most injuries because it's so hard with little to no defense american football at least have tons of defense on it.

Yeah, but with soccer, the goal isn't to hit the other team :P

no it's to hit the other teams goal, wich in my mind, is funnier because it's challenging even though it looks easy.
more injuries means harder so Soccer > all other sports ^^

Imagine football back in the good ol days with leather helmets, no face masks, and maybe, just maybe, a cup.

There's Australian football too? Wow, enough types of football. My uncultured American mind can't handle it!

I love how George Carlin puts football (American football that is):
"In football the object is for the quarterback, also known as the field general, to be on target with his aerial assault, riddling the defense by hitting his receivers with deadly accuracy in spite of the blitz, even if he has to use shotgun. With short bullet passes and long bombs, he marches his troops into enemy territory, balancing this aerial assault with a sustained ground attack that punches holes in the forward wall of the enemy's defensive line."
And then comparing it to baseball:
"In baseball the object is to go home! And to be safe! - I hope I'll be safe at home!"

lol Not bad. But soccer is worse then football. Yes the point isn't to hit the guy but you watch two guys going full steam both go for a head ball, someone is getting hurt. It's a much more dangerous sport because of slide tackling. One wrong tackle and you can break someones ankle. And it is still legal as long as you get the ball! Crazy.

Oh ouch Halmyr, that is never good especially around Christmas time. I hope you find a job soon...
And ya my girlfriend is already started doing some of her Christmas shopping, me I will wait till the 20th, wrap them the 20th, and then sit around for the next four days because of surgery on the 21st lol. The 20th is the day I get back from school so I have 1 day to shop! Easy enough imo.
